The First Days

At Nutkins we understand that leaving your child for the first time in nursery is a big event and can be a stressful and upsetting time for you and sometimes, your child. Therefore, we try and make this as easy as possible. When leaving your child please rest assured that staff will spend as long as required settling in a new little one.

Once your place is booked, but before your child starts nursery, we will offer you and your child the opportunity to attend ‘settling in’ sessions. This experience is invaluable and will enable us to begin to build important relationships with you and your child. We want you to be comfortable and confident in leaving your child with us.

We welcome you to visit or telephone at any time and members of staff are always available to discuss your child’s progress, the day’s activities or alleviate any concerns. We believe that childcare is a true partnership, so our fully qualified staff will liaise closely with you to ensure your requirements are met.

The Baby and Toddler Room (3 months to 2 years)

Opens at 8am and Closes at 6pm.

These full day sessions consist of:

Morning snack	9.30 am
Full cooked lunch	11.45am
Afternoon snack	2pm
Tea	4pm

 

Early Years and Pre - school children

Full day session	8am - 6pm	Morning and afternoon snack, full cooked lunch, tea
Morning session	8am - 1pm	Morning snack and full cooked lunch
Afternoon session	1pm - 6pm	Afternoon snack and tea
